PDB Group Nears Completion of Two-Building Industrial Project in Chicago's Northwest Suburbs

PREMIER is putting the finishing touches on a new industrial complex for real estate developer Seefried Industrial Properties.

February 19, 2021 (Elk Grove Village, IL) – PREMIER Design + Build Group is putting the finishing touches on a new industrial complex for real estate developer Seefried Industrial Properties. The two-building spec warehouse facility is being built at 202-228 East Devon Avenue in Elk Grove Village, IL. PREMIER is providing design + build services for the new development. Building 1 will have 79,290 square feet and a 32’ clear height. Building 2 will be slightly larger at 83,052 square feet. Each of the buildings will have two drive-in doors, 12 dock doors, four future docks, and an Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) sprinkler system. Both of the Elk Grove Village buildings will be constructed using insulated precast panels, glass and glazing, as well as accent precast form liner in a stacked stone pattern. In addition, PREMIER is managing a roadway project to widen Devon Avenue and add turn lanes into the two-building complex. PREMIER’s team for the Seefried assignment includes project manager Mitch Braam, project superintendent Dan Wolf, and senior vice president/Midwest market leader Michael Long. “We’re excited to be teaming with Seefried to deliver new warehouse options in the Chicago market. These two buildings will offer the latest modern amenities for tenants on a site that has excellent access to O’Hare International Airport and major highways including I-294, I-290, I-90, and I-355,” said Long. PREMIER and Seefried worked with Harris Architects, Inc. for architectural design services. Jacob and Hefner is leading civil engineering services for the two-building development, which is slated for completion by March 1, 2021.
