February 12, 2021 (Irvine, CA) – Work is underway on three large construction projects that will bring nearly 700,000 square feet of new industrial space to southern California this year, according to PREMIER Design + Build Group. All three projects are for client Black Creek Group, a Denver-based leading real estate investment management firm. The projects are: Perris DC III in Riverside County, CA, which is slated for completion in Q1 2021 Fontana Logistics Center in San Bernardino County, CA, which is slated for completion in Q1 2021 Gateway Logistics Center in Torrance, CA, which is slated for completion in Q4 2021 The Perris project is an industrial build on a 24.5-acre site. PREMIER’s team is constructing a 251,000-square-foot facility on the site. The new facility will offer parking for a total of 216 excess trailer stalls and have a 32’ clear height. It will include 37 truck dock positions and a drive-in door. The Fontana project is a 193,000-square-foot industrial warehouse being built on a vacant 8.9-acre site. The warehouse will offer a 36’ clear height, 27 truck dock positions, two drive-in doors, and office. Gateway Logistics Center is a new industrial warehouse project that will rise on an 11.0-acre site following demolition of an existing building that was previously used for commercial printing.
