August 18, 2021 (Buffalo Grove, Ill.) – PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC has just broken ground on its new corporate headquarters in suburban Chicago. PREMIER’s team celebrated the occasion with a groundbreaking and outdoor party. PREMIER’s new corporate headquarters is being constructed at 1305 Busch Parkway in northwest suburban Buffalo Grove. The move to a new home was prompted by rapid growth at the design + construction firm. PREMIER recently sold its previous headquarters of seven years, which was in Itasca. The projected completion date for the 50,516-square-foot, two-story facility is July 2022. PREMIER’s new home will feature open offices with abundant daylighting, outdoor workspaces overlooking a lake, breakout rooms, huddle spaces, and a full indoor basketball court. It will include two canopied entrances, cantilevered decks, two drive-in doors, and four dock positions. PREMIER teamed with Cornerstone Architects, Ltd. for architectural design of the facility. “We wanted to create an environment that motivates and energizes our team,” according to Brian Paul, co-founder and managing principal. “This building is designed to be both highly functional as well as a desirable place for employees, so we are packing it with amenities that they will enjoy.” PREMIER was founded in 2004 by Alan Zocher, Brian Paul, and Alec Zocher. The firm first established a reputation for its work in the industrial and warehouse sectors. PREMIER has expanded its scope into a wide variety of project types including commercial, medical, retail, hospitality, interiors, and adaptive reuse. PREMIER recently opened a downtown Chicago office at 71 South Wacker Drive to better serve its growing client base of commercial interiors clients.
