Expansion of 41,895 square feet has been incorporated into an existing industrial warehouse located within the I-55 corridor in Cook County, Illinois. This enhancement has significantly augmented the facility, expanding its total area to 189,216 square feet. The updated structure includes a 34’ clear height warehouse space and is equipped with an ESFR fire protection sprinkler system for enhanced safety measures. The expansion's construction involved the utilization of structural steel, load-bearing precast concrete wall panels, and a 45 mil, fully-ballasted, EPDM roofing system. Additionally, the exterior precast wall panels were stained to match with the established color scheme, while the roof fascias were constructed with pre-finished clad metal to align with the window frames. The facility also included the enlargement of the parking lot, sidewalks, and an onsite storm sewer system was installed to effectively manage stormwater on the premises.
