Vernon Hills Warehouse
PREMIER served as the General Contractor for the Vernon Hills warehouse project, which included site demolition and new construction. The project featured a 32’ clear height warehouse with 124 auto parking spaces, 16 exterior truck docks, and two drive-in doors. The building was constructed using load-bearing precast concrete panels, with structural steel canopies over two future office entrances. The glass and glazing system incorporated grey tinted glass within clear anodized aluminum framing.
The facility was equipped with unit heaters, a 45-mil EPDM ballasted roofing system with R-30 insulation, an ESFR sprinkler system, and a 1200A 277/480V, 3-phase, 4-wire electrical service. The site work included the demolition of an existing office building and removal of all footings. All asphalt paving was demolished and stockpiled on-site to be crushed and reused as the base material for the new parking lot.
