2026 PREMIER Guardian: Excellence in Safety Award

During Construction Safety Week 2025, PREMIER introduced the PREMIER Guardian: Excellence in Safety Award to recognize team members who have surpassed expectations in safety protocols and set a higher standard for the industry. This year, PREMIER is proud to present the 2026 award to Nick Chorostecki, Superintendent in the Central Region.
In nearly five years with PREMIER, Nick has demonstrated that a commitment to safety is not something earned with time; it’s a chosen value. Leading projects for the world's leading global e-commerce retailer, Nick has consistently modeled the safety values that PREMIER holds at its core, proving that excellence in this area can be embraced early in a career and carried with conviction every day on the jobsite.
“Nick is exactly the kind of person this award was created for. In a field where safety experience is often measured in years, Nick proved from the start that it's really measured in character. He took the initiative to earn the Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC)® certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), a nationally recognized credential that validates his expertise in hazard recognition, safety program implementation, and regulatory compliance,” said Zach Gadomski, Director, Construction. “He brings a level of intentionality to every jobsite that makes the people around him better, and that's something you can't teach.”
Nick consistently goes above and beyond, investing time, resources, and energy into creating safe environments. He works closely with the project teams to coordinate subcontractors, manage daily workflows, and uphold rigorous safety protocols: keeping jobsites safe, organized, and on schedule. His reliable presence and consistent execution ensure that site activity stays aligned with project goals, and every team member goes home safely.
