It’s Construction Safety Week 2025—and at PREMIER, safety isn’t just a priority, it’s a core value. This week, we're proud to recognize the people who live and breathe that value every single day.
We’re thrilled to announce that Superintendent Artie Trautmann has been named the recipient of our first annual PREMIER Guardian: Excellence in Safety Award! This honor is reserved for those who don’t just follow safety protocols—they set the bar. Artie’s unwavering commitment to site safety, his proactive leadership, and his dedication to protecting every team member make him a true safety champion.
Artie exemplifies what it means to lead by example. He’s one of the many individuals whose experience and diligence help shape PREMIER’s strong foundation of safety. These team members consistently go above and beyond, investing time, resources, and heart into creating safe environments and staying ahead of industry standards.
Throughout Construction Safety Week, Artie is going the extra mile to bring safety to the forefront with a packed schedule of educational and engaging activities for his team. Each day features a different focus, including:
A presentation from City Safety LLC on NYC SST requirements and the OSHA Focus Four
A deep dive into Fall Protection & PPE best practices
A live demo from Sunbelt on book lifts and fall protection equipment
A full site emergency drill and EVAC/muster exercise to reinforce emergency preparedness
A special guest appearance by Warren Goodman, who shared valuable insights on building a strong safety culture
But Artie’s commitment doesn’t stop there. All year long, he leads regular Safety Toolbox Talks, creates a Safety Trivia Game to keep learning fun and interactive, and hosts monthly 5-Worker Safety Lunches to foster open discussions about safety on the job site.
“When walking the site, Artie commands respect from everyone,” says Dan Wolf, National Director of Safety. “He has set the tone for safety.”
As we celebrate Construction Safety Week, we’re reminded that safety is more than a checklist—it’s a mindset. Whether on the job site or off, the well-being of our employees and subcontractors remains our top priority.
Let’s all continue doing our part to keep safety front and center—not just this week, but every week.
Stay safe. Stay aware. Stay PREMIER.
