April 19, 2022 (Perris, CA and Rancho Dominguez, CA) – PREMIER Design + Build Group has just completed work on two industrial projects in southern California. Both assignments were done on behalf of First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc., a leading owner, operator, and developer of logistics real estate.
First Wilson Logistics Center was built as a speculative warehouse in Riverside County in the city of Perris. This new build spans 303,204 square feet on a 15-acre site at 3125 Wilson Avenue. It offers a 36’ clear height, 40 dock doors, two drive-in doors, parking for 162 vehicles and 53 trailers, and a bocce ball court. The team is anticipating LEED Silver certification for the new warehouse. The building is fully leased to a single tenant.
The PREMIER team also assisted First Industrial with the redevelopment of a 4-acre industrial property in the sought-after South Bay submarket of Los Angeles. Located at 19302-19400 S. Laurel Park in Rancho Dominguez, California, the repurposed structure includes a 22’ clear height, seven dock doors, and one drive-in door. In addition to the interior renovations, PREMIER’s team refreshed the pavement to accommodate exterior parking for 57 vehicles and 48 trailers. The team completed an ESFR fire protection system upgrade as well as a power service upgrade. Just prior to completion, the building was fully leased to a single tenant.

Gabbert’s team for the Laurel Park assignment included Derrick Schuster as senior project manager, Erik Henriksen as senior project engineer, and Jacob Kulik as project superintendent.
