Two-Building Complex Will Bring 1.7 Million+ SF to New Jersey’s Salem County
October 12, 2022 (Pennsville Township, NJ) – PREMIER Design + Build Group has begun work on a massive project in Pennsville Township, NJ. CT Realty chose PREMIER to serve as general contractor for Garden State Logistics, a two-building speculative industrial facility on a 282-acre site in southwestern New Jersey. Building A will span 1,200,507 square feet and will include 222 dock positions; Building B will measure 512,242 square feet and will include 54 dock positions. Construction of Garden State Logistics is moving forward on an aggressive timeline. Both buildings are slated for completion in October 2023.
Both will be constructed using precast concrete and will have a 40’ clear height. Each will have two curtainwall entries, along with clerestory windows for natural lighting. The larger building will offer (2) 2000 amp services; the smaller structure will have (2) 1600 amp services.
A fire pump house with fire loop is also part of the project scope. Upon completion, the Garden State Logistics complex will also include exterior parking for 1,797 automobiles and 811 trailers.
Pennsville Township is in New Jersey’s Salem County. It is approximately 10 miles south of Wilmington, DE and 40 miles southwest of Philadelphia, PA. The township houses a number of major roadways including I-295, US 40, US 130, Route 49, and the New Jersey Turnpike.
PREMIER’s team includes Mitch Braam as senior project manager, Paul Laino as senior project superintendent, George Deangelis as superintendent, and Joseph Ahrens, senior vice president, market leader.

PREMIER is working with Cornerstone Architects Ltd. for architectural design. Swift Structural Design, PLLC will provide structural engineering services, and RTM Engineering Consultants, LLC will provide MEP engineering services. Civil engineering services will be provided by Marathon Engineering & Environmental Services Inc. CBRE is serving as the broker for the Garden State Logistics complex.
