August 22, 2024 (Buffalo Grove, Illinois) - PREMIER Design + Build Group has started work on Underground Devices, Inc.’s new headquarters, a 106,920-square-foot facility undergoing major improvements in both office and warehouse spaces.
Underground Devices, Inc. was eager to move into its larger facility ahead of schedule, allowing it to ramp up production and meet its increasing product demands. By leveraging PREMIER’s experience in handling such dynamic changes, we coordinated our construction timeline to best accommodate their needs. We recognize the urgency of getting their operations up and running, so our focus is to prioritize preparing the manufacturing area for the machinery to be transported from their previous facility.
Our team’s ability to manage these key tasks requires precise timing and coordination for efficient installation of the warehouse’s retrofitted and new electric panels. This is necessary for the space to be ready for the machinery to arrive and begin operations immediately.
In the office area, the project includes many unique design aspects including pre-fabricated modular offices and the creation of a “hidden” door to connect a meeting room with a private office.
Currently, the crane has been transported to the new facility. This essential machinery replaces the need for forklifts within the work zone, streamlining the manufacturing process while enhancing safety.
PREMIER's experience in handling complex operations is evident in our strategic approach to this project, where we are prioritizing the factory's needs to ensure minimal disruption to manufacturing operations. The project is on track to be completed in Q4 2024.
